Hi, I’m David Young and I am an outdoor adventure freelance writer based in Fort Collins, Colorado.

With more than two decades of experience as an award-winning journalist and working in public relations with outdoor brands, I write about the great outdoors and travel across the globe.
When I’m not at the keyboard listening to vinyl records and writing, I enjoy being outside enjoying all that Colorado has to offer from fly fishing and backcountry skiing to mountain biking, backpacking, and golfing. I also enjoy a cold beer or whiskey after a long day on the river or trail.
